Set amongst 2,750sqm of mature tropical riverside gardens, the property consists of a series of charming thatched pavilions in the design of a traditional Balinese family compound home. Spacious bedrooms, private terraces and pretty ensuite garden bathrooms encircle a welcoming open-sided living pavilion while pool loungers, outdoor and indoor dining areas and an additional lounge–TV room on an upstairs veranda provide more than enough options for both private and social moments. Recreational facilities include three TVs and DVD players, iPod docking and sound systems, a hard-surface tennis court and an inviting 18m natural-stone-lined pool.
Beyond the enchanting gardens and swaying palm fronds lie terraces of verdant rice fields on one side and a grassy pasture complete with grazing cows on the other. It’s a quiet spot, where days blissfully blur together, but if you do feel the urge to venture out, the villa is just a few minutes’ drive (or a 15-minute walk) from the Indian Ocean and some excellent surfing beaches, as well as a glut of world-class restaurants and stylish bars in nearby Petitenget and Seminyak.

Villa Surya Damai features several alang alang thatch-roofed pavilions generously spread throughout an immaculately landscaped riverside garden. At the centre of the compound, and facing the pool, is an informal, open-sided living room. Stepping-stone pathways set in lush green lawns lead to a master suite, principal guest suite and a double-storey pavilion, containing three bedrooms and a second, veranda-style, living area. Another pavilion, overlooking the swimming pool, houses the formal dining room and adjoining kitchen. A hard tennis court rests in the far corner of the grounds.

Location Umalas, Greater Seminyak
Villa Surya Damai is located at the edge of the peaceful village of Umalas, one of a group of small rural communities that constitute the Kerobokan district, just north of bustling Seminyak. Umalas is home to a growing number of foreign-owned residences and traditional dwellings as well as the popular Umalas Equestrian Resort.
The villa lies off a narrow lane that runs across a small bridge and dissects the rice fields. To the side of the villa, immediately outside the front wooden entrance doors, is a field of grazing cows. A pleasant 15-minute-or-so walk through farming communities and rice fields brings you to the nearest beach, Batubelig. Great for surfing, this black-sand beach, like many along this south-west coastline, has strong currents, so is not advisable for swimming. For calmer waters and more developed beachside amenities, head south to Legian Beach’s golden sands, around 30 minutes away.

Villa rates are categorized in low, high and peak seasons
A deposit of 50% of the rental amount must be received in 3 days after receiving the invoice and Final payment is required 45 days prior to arrival (low season) and 60 days (high season and Peak season) or immediately if booking is made less than 45 days prior to arrival in order to guarantee your reservation

Check in time is at 2.00 pm and check out time is at 12.00 noon. Late check out can be arranged at half the rental rate subject to availability.
Events or functions at the Villa must be authorized by The owner
Cancellation
Cancellation has to be made in writing, either by email or fax.
No show is subject to forfeiture of all payments you have made.
Notice of cancellation must be received by Bali Villa Seminyak Holiday in writing by email or email at least 61 days prior to arrival for Low Season, 91 days prior to arrival for High Season and Peak Season bookings. Deposit will be refunded in full less US$ 1.000.00 OR 30% of monies received (whichever is greater), if the booking is canceled 61 days or more prior to arrival (91 days for Christmas/New Year bookings).In the event a reservation is canceled less than 61 days prior to arrival the deposit will be forfeited.
Final Payments are non-refundable
Be aware that security deposits are required for some villas. If required, a deposit will requested by the villa Manager upon arrival and will be refunded in full on day of departure, unless damages/repairs need to be performed, in which case refunds will be made by Cash or transfer, less cost of damages.
Travel insurance
With potential medical, liability, cancellation risks involved in holidays, travel insurance is important, as deposits and rental payments are not refundable after a reservation has been confirmed. We highly recommend to buy an all-inclusive travel insurance package which covers all your expenses if you need to cancel your holiday due to personal reasons or a world event.
